HEED
Privacy Policy
HEED doesn't collect any information about you. Your tasks stay on your iPhone.
What HEED stores
HEED stores the tasks, notes, steps and settings you create. They're kept only on your iPhone, in HEED's own storage. HEED's widgets, Live Activity and Siri shortcuts read the same on-device data so they can show your tasks.
What HEED doesn't do
- No account or sign-in.
- No servers. HEED doesn't send your tasks, or anything else, over the internet.
- No analytics, tracking, advertising or third-party code.
- No selling or sharing of data, because none is collected.
Dictation
If you choose to dictate a Brain dump, HEED asks for access to the microphone and speech recognition. Recognition runs entirely on your iPhone. Audio isn't recorded, stored or sent anywhere, and only the resulting text is kept, in your draft.
Smart features
Brain dump suggestions, short titles and Break it down use Apple Intelligence on your device. Your text is processed on the iPhone and isn't sent to HEED or to anyone else. On iPhones without Apple Intelligence, HEED uses simple built-in rules instead.
Notifications
Reminders are scheduled locally by your iPhone. HEED doesn't use push notification servers.
Backups
If you back up your iPhone with iCloud or to a computer, your HEED data is included in that backup like any other app's. Apple's own privacy policy covers those backups.
Deleting your data
Deleting HEED from your iPhone removes all of its data. Individual tasks can be deleted at any time from inside the app.
Children
HEED is suitable for all ages and collects no information from anyone, including children.
Changes
If this policy ever changes, the new version will be posted on this page with a new date. HEED will never start collecting data without saying so here first.
